Human Resources Coordinator

Growing New York City organization is currently seeking a bilingual Human Resource Coordinator with 1+ year of experience. The candidate must have proficiency in both English and Spanish. This position will provide support in various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance observing, and employee counseling.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all internal and external HR related matters.
- Participating in the development of organizational procedures and guidelines.
- Managing the appointment, orientation and training process of new employees.
- Assisting with performance management procedures.
- Producing and submitting reports concerning general HR activities.
- Coordinating and managing communication with candidates and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate HR projects, meetings, training, and surveys.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field/experience a plus
- 1+ year of experience in human resources
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics, and cultural awareness.
- Resourceful, problem-solving aptitude, and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required to manage communication with diverse individuals.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
