About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at One Haus Recruiting. As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring seamless service and a 5-star guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies to ensure efficient service and high-quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate with department heads to optimize service standards, streamline processes, and maintain an exceptional dining experience. Train and supervise dining room and bar staff to ensure excellent customer service and uphold our restaurant's high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring proper stock levels of ingredients, supplies, and equipment. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation, timely service, and adherence to quality standards.
  • Customer Service: Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and promotional activities to attract new customers and increase revenue.
  • Health and Safety: Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment throughout the restaurant.
  • Financial Management: Collaborate with the General Manager in budget planning, cost control, and financial management.
Requirements
  • 4 years' experience in a similar level managerial role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and resolve guest concerns.
  • Solid knowledge of restaurant operations, including food and beverage service, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
  • Social media savvy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications such as MS Office and restaurant management software.
