Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Specialty Restaurants Corporation, Inc. as an Assistant General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the General Manager in managing the restaurant's daily operations, including staff supervision, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and make recommendations for promotions, hiring, and terminations.
  • Oversee the training and development of front-of-house staff, ensuring they meet company standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and inventory expenses.
  • Forecast labor costs, schedule staff, and manage labor productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in and pass alcohol awareness and safety training classes.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience as a Manager in a high-volume restaurant atmosphere ($10m+ annually).
  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and administration.
  • Proven track record of P&L management, including food, liquor, labor, and controllable costs.
  • Experience in accurate scheduling and forecasting.
  • Leadership experience in a 4-star rated location.
  • Proficient wine, beer, and cocktail knowledge.
  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Office, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or better.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a schedule that may fluctuate based on departmental requirements. Local travel may be required.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this position include light work, prolonged walking and/or standing, and occasional exertion of up to 25lbs of force.
