The Community Development Manager is a key role at Omni Fiber LLC, responsible for driving residential sales growth and business development in the Northeast Ohio region. This position requires a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive residential sales growth in assigned territories.
- Build and maintain relationships with Multi-Dwelling Unit owners, residential housing contractors, and homeowner's associations to secure new business opportunities.
- Work with Operations to ensure efficient delivery of Omni Fiber services to customers and partners.
- Manage a sales pipeline and negotiate Utility Access Agreements and Service Provider Partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with Finance and Marketing to develop financial models for breakeven analysis, Cost-per-Acquisition, and payback analysis.
- Represent Omni Fiber at local community events and meetings to promote the company's services.
- Identify competitive threats and report them to sales and marketing leadership.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of recent experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of the Cable/Telecom industries and technology utilized for delivery of broadband service.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in computer usage with good typing skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Effective time management and prioritization skills.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
