Job Opportunity: Community Development Manager

Omni Fiber LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving residential sales growth in our Northeast Ohio territories.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Multi-Dwelling Unit owners, residential housing contractors, and homeowner's associations to secure new sales opportunities.
  • Work with Operations to maintain a timeline and schedule that ensures efficient delivery of Omni Fiber services to customers and partners.
  • Secure and negotiate Utility Access Agreements and Service Provider Partnership agreements with MDU owners and collaborate with Marketing to develop plans to secure new residential business through these partnerships.
  • Create and maintain a weekly sales pipeline with pertinent information related to the selling of services to new partners.
  • Perform quality work within deadlines, with or without direct supervision, and work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.
  • Negotiate terms to secure new residential customers through relationships and work with Finance and Marketing to develop financial models for breakeven analysis, Cost-per-Acquisition, and payback analysis to evaluate new opportunities.
  • Attend local community events, including owners' association meetings, to promote Omni Fiber's agenda and increase residential services in the community.
  • Work with zoning boards, permitting authorities, MDU authorities, and market Supervisors to identify competitive threats and report them to sales and marketing leadership.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of recent experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, to effectively interact with senior executives and business partners.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Cable/Telecom industries and technology utilized for delivery of broadband service.
  • Positive attitude to represent Omni Fiber in local communities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including construction, sales, engineering, and operations.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Relationship-building skills with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient in computer usage, including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
