Prestige Staffing is collaborating with a leading client to identify qualified Patient Scheduling Representatives. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently. This role offers a chance to thrive in a fulfilling and fast-paced environment. The position is temporary with the potential for permanent placement, and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Manage pre-registration and scheduling of moderately complex medical procedures while coordinating various resources for patient services.
  • Utilize the appropriate processes to identify patient medical records and ensure an exceptional experience through all customer interactions.
  • Effectively operate the Scheduler Program within the hospital's computer system.
  • Timely respond to scheduling changes and cancellations through both written and verbal communication.
  • Evaluate and prioritize requests, ensuring accurate and relevant information is communicated to both external and internal clients.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the patient scheduling system to address inquiries regarding insurance billing, payment, and self-pay responsibilities.
  • Pre-register patient encounters by collecting necessary demographic and financial information for various departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Healthcare Scheduling, Customer Service, or Patient Access.
  • Possess a customer-focused attitude.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare sector is essential.
  • This position operates Monday through Friday.
