Job Description:

  • Serve as a crucial point of contact for patients at Emory facilities, enhancing their overall experience during clinical appointments.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to patients during the check-in process, effectively communicating with patients, families, and staff to resolve inquiries, while adhering to established protocols for administrative and technical tasks, including appointment scheduling and demographic updates.
  • Work collaboratively with various stakeholders to ensure that patients enjoy a smooth and positive experience at Emory.
  • We are looking for individuals who possess empathy, excellent customer service skills, problem-solving capabilities, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and the ability to multitask efficiently are essential.
  • Attention to detail and punctuality are critical attributes. The ability to quickly learn new processes and software is vital.
  • Engage in patient satisfaction initiatives and contribute to efforts aimed at process enhancement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED is preferred, along with twelve (12) months of experience in healthcare or customer service sectors, or a Bachelor's degree.

Physical Requirements:

  • May require lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional standing and walking, close visual tasks, and varying physical demands based on assigned responsibilities.

Environmental Factors:

  • Work environment conditions and exposures may vary based on assigned tasks, which may include biohazardous materials, chemicals, infectious agents, and the use of personal protective equipment.
