Position Summary

The Wheeled Equipment Maintenance Technician is tasked with diagnosing and repairing military and civilian light, medium, and heavy wheeled vehicles. This role involves collaboration with a team of skilled mechanics.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on wheeled vehicles and trailers.
- Inspect, test, and operate wheeled equipment to assess serviceability and operational efficiency.
- Service equipment with necessary fluids, disassemble and reassemble malfunctioning components.
- Remove, repair, clean, and reinstall various accessories and components.
- Dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Operate and maintain wheeled equipment for service purposes.
- Uphold safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Utilize various repair and testing equipment, including Maintenance Support Devices and electrical testers.
- Perform additional duties as required to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications

Education/Certifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid State Driver's License is required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

Experience:
- A minimum of three to six years of experience in wheeled equipment maintenance or a related field.
- Candidates must provide their own OSHA-compliant tools suitable for the role.

Skills:
- Proficiency in servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing both military and civilian wheeled equipment.
- Familiarity with electronic technical manuals is essential.
