Position Summary:


Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Lead Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with HR Business Partners and management to ensure alignment of workforce with business objectives.

This role fosters and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates, both internal and external.

It involves crafting and implementing effective attraction and recruitment strategies, plans, and marketing campaigns for internal clients to achieve business placement goals through sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating offers.


Responsibilities:
Establish and nurture robust business partnerships with internal clients while leading the complete recruitment lifecycle.


Develop diverse sourcing channels, including candidate pipelines, to attract top active and passive talent, utilizing technology for an efficient process.

Identify and apply sourcing strategies tailored to job positions through innovative research and a variety of resources.

Train recruitment team members on new internet platforms, blogs, networking groups, and resources.

Lead discussions on talent acquisition topics across various functional teams.


Consult with HR Business Partners and management to devise suitable recruitment planning models, ensuring ongoing alignment with workforce needs while filling open positions based on employment requisitions; maintaining staffing requirements within budget and compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as HR policies/Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) guidelines; ensuring the best candidate match for each position.


Responsible for sourcing candidates and ensuring a diverse pool of qualified applicants through advertising, career fairs, community events, and tours, in compliance with applicable employment laws.


Coordinate the preparation and review of the Affirmative Action Plan (AAP), collaborating and leading discussions with other departments.

Oversee the selection, validation, and implementation of appropriate testing.

Ensure that checklists and/or tests are consistently and appropriately administered to all applicants for specified positions, interpreting results in accordance with AAP guidelines.

Direct and coordinate the employment offer process in line with policies.

Ensure adherence to policies related to employment offers and that documentation is complete, including reference checks, equitable and competitive compensation, drug screening, and criminal background checks.

Manage the recruitment process for visa-sponsored employees, ensuring all necessary documentation is received and filed appropriately.

Accountable for HR hiring metrics reporting; analyzing data and trends in partnership with HR Business Partners to develop solutions.

Contribute to the design of recruitment systems and programs; review and update employment policies and procedures.

Maintain the recruitment module for the talent management system and participate in the implementation of new modules.

Deliver services aligned with departmental guiding principles.

Support the mission, vision, and values, as well as departmental goals and objectives.

Maintain strict confidentiality of information and records at all times.

Keep required records, reports, and files related to areas of responsibility.


Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, including personal professional development and sharing knowledge with team members.


Engage in budget formulation, HR policies and procedures, measurement tools, and long-range planning as part of the HR team.

Provide support in developing, presenting, and coordinating training and education programs to enhance management and staff skills.

Participate in and potentially lead sub-teams to establish and achieve process improvement goals.

Serve as a resource for HR staff regarding complex employment inquiries.

Meet regularly with HR Business Partners to ensure ongoing alignment with organizational workforce needs.

Collaborate with the HR Team on process improvement initiatives.

Maintain a continuous focus on teamwork and communication to enhance processes that ensure efficient and cost-effective HR services.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Comply with all policies and standards.

Qualifications:
Education

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in human resources, business, or a related field is required.

Experience

5 years of experience in a full life-cycle recruiting role is required.

5 years of candidate sourcing experience is required.

5 years of progressive human resource experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruitment environment, including the use of behavioral interviewing techniques and demonstrated collaboration with business leaders and employees to support organizational goals and objectives is required.

Scientific recruiting experience is preferred.

Experience in workforce segmentation, employment branding, and metrics is required.

Previous experience in developing strategic recruitment plans for various service lines is required.

High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook) is required.

Experience with integrated Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and talent/recruitment management systems is preferred.

Experience in coordinating Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) is preferred.

Previous experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws, as well as an understanding of compensation practices involved in recruitment is required.

Proven ability to be strategic in sourcing and recruiting activities, including the ability to analyze market and demographic data and develop a comprehensive sourcing strategy is required.

Ability to coach and advise the hiring team on best hiring practices is required.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to recruiting processes and methodologies is required.

Demonstrated experience in developing and executing complex recruitment plans is required.

Demonstrated understanding and ability to execute processes associated with recruitment is required.

Excellent project management and business literacy skills are required.

Strong sense of urgency, results-oriented, and action-oriented is required.

Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

Ability to communicate confidently, including excellent negotiation and presentation skills, is required.

Proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships while providing excellent customer service is required.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of management and staff in support of strategic plan execution is required.

Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment is required.

Licenses and Certifications

Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
