Job Overview

The Loan Processing Support Specialist plays a crucial role in aiding the Processing team with the necessary tasks to advance a loan file through its lifecycle. This position demands a high level of attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. The primary focus of this role is to assist Loan Processors and Loan Originators in preparing loans for underwriting and closing procedures.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $50,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with all lending and regulatory standards while organizing the loan file
  • Examine file documentation for any missing or incorrect information
  • Meet deadlines for loan applications
  • Support Loan Officers with necessary requests and tasks to finalize and process applications
  • Collect information required for the loan application
  • Assist Loan Processors with data entry and obtaining essential documentation for the loan process
Required Qualifications:
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical skills, time management capabilities, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Preferred experience in mortgage lending and familiarity with the loan process
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Ability to think critically
