We are seeking a meticulous Mortgage Loan Officer Support Specialist. This role is essential in fostering communication with referral partners, existing and former clients, real estate professionals, lenders, and underwriters to strengthen relationships and cultivate new business opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating the completion of real estate loan applications, gathering, analyzing, and reviewing necessary loan documentation in line with loan guidelines, and providing assistance throughout the loan application journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with our Inside Sales Agents (ISAs) and real estate professionals, educating them on available loan programs.
  • Provide prompt and competent responses to our in-house Realtor and builder referrals.
  • Timely follow-up on incoming leads and work alongside our ISAs and agents on each lead.
  • Utilize our company-provided CRM system to ensure it remains current and accurate.
  • Engage with applicants swiftly, offering insightful and consultative mortgage options.
  • Review rates, costs, and program options while keeping all parties informed about transaction status.
  • Collect and coordinate essential loan documentation required for verifications and underwriting, including loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork.
  • Screen calls, schedule appointments, and provide administrative support as necessary.
  • Act as the primary liaison between our clients and our organization, scheduling and conducting meetings to address any follow-up issues or items that need attention.
  • Ensure all loan package documentation received is accurate and complete according to company policies and procedures, reporting any discrepancies to the loan originator or loan officer.
  • Address inquiries regarding transactions for clients and company personnel to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • NMLS #, Licensed loan officer.
  • Demonstrated history of originating purchase loans.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed mortgage originator.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to engage in daily video conferencing.
  • A college degree is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.).
  • A preferred degree in banking or finance, along with a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
