JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW

The Loan Boarding Analyst will be primarily responsible for the integration of loan transfers for various investors. This role necessitates the candidate to possess experience in the mortgage sector and a solid understanding of loan products. Key responsibilities include reconciliation and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and effective written communication skills.

This position will also oversee pre-boarding tasks, facilitate data exchanges with external partners, and ensure the final data is accurately onboarded into the servicing platform.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Comprehend client specifications for incoming loan pools.

- Analyze and interpret complex loan attributes to determine the suitable system framework for integration.


- Collaborate with internal departments and external entities to gather information and fulfill research inquiries related to the onboarding of loan portfolios.

- Ensure compliance with service transfer SLAs and client expectations.


- Provide clients with updates regarding the status of service transfer activities and escalate issues related to missing information or lack of responsiveness from brokers and originators.

- Assist in the development, execution, and upkeep of Loan Boarding policies and procedures.

- Confirm that all Escrow Balances and Unapplied Funds are received and accurately recorded.

- Verify and validate that Loan Boarding Documents are obtained from the previous servicer and forwarded to the relevant parties.

- Undertake additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of two to four years of experience in the mortgage industry or relevant training is required.

Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel are preferred, and candidates may be assessed on their Excel proficiency prior to consideration for employment.

- Respond to service requests and support inquiries from clients and internal stakeholders; fulfill commitments.

Oral Communication:

Communicate clearly and persuasively; actively listen and seek clarification; respond effectively to inquiries; demonstrate group presentation skills; engage in meetings.


Team Collaboration:

Balance individual and team responsibilities; show objectivity and openness to others' perspectives; provide and welcome constructive feedback; contribute to fostering a positive team environment.
