Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our mission by providing top-notch patient services and ensuring seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily scheduling and operations for assigned areas, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain APM templates and master schedules, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate clinical and administrative aspects of new patient scheduling encounters, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Provide exceptional patient service, resolving issues and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with managers and providers to establish and implement practice policies, procedures, and efficient systems.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of medical office experience, with a focus on patient services and operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
