Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our tripartite mission of providing the highest level of care to patients, conducting cutting-edge research, and educating future leaders in the field of medicine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a patient/customer focus and support the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Oversee the daily schedule and operations of an assigned area/group, ensuring daily performance expectations are communicated and met.
  • Develop and maintain APM templates and master schedules, and generate/run reports to monitor and coach real-time performance against pre-established expectations/metrics.
  • Act as the communication link between the group and management, disseminating information and forwarding it back up to management.
  • Effectively work with manager and providers to establish, implement, and maintain practice policies, procedures, and efficient systems that support daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree preferred, or H.S. Diploma/GED with 3+ years of medical office experience.
  • Must successfully complete/pass EMR training/tests.
