Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a patient-focused environment, ensuring high-quality care and exceptional customer service.
  • Support the management of daily operations, including scheduling, registration, and patient flow.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with staff, managers, and physicians to ensure daily performance expectations are met.
  • Oversee the daily schedule and operations of assigned areas, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to physicians and managers, including surgery scheduling and data entry.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of medical office experience, with a focus on patient services and administrative coordination.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare software systems.
