Job Title: Digital Banking Specialist

Civista Bank is seeking a highly skilled Digital Banking Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of our digital banking products, including ATM/Check Card operations, Online Banking Product operations, Branch Balancing, Tax Department operations, Cash Management operations, and ACH operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and submit tax program entries and digital communications on a daily basis.
  • Provide exceptional customer support for all online banking products to internal and external customers.
  • Process debit card orders, card maintenance, and utilize fraud monitoring software to ensure the security of our customers' accounts.
  • Resolve transactional concerns, including Reg E disputes, reclamations, and ACH returns, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Reconcile ATM and branch general ledgers on a daily and monthly basis, and maintain and review procedures for digital banking.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in banking or financial services.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with office administrative skills or certification.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries with tact, diplomacy, and patience.
  • Exceptional organization, time management, and follow-up skills, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, bank employees, and outside service providers.
  • Knowledge of digital banking products and the ability to follow detailed instructions and a wide range of procedures requiring sound judgment.
  • Proficient typing and computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel, and the ability to navigate computer programs.
  • Ability to be cross-trained on many different job duties within the department.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to view computer screens and read reports for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work under sometimes distracting work conditions.
  • Ability to move files of up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to sit for long periods at a time.
  • Ability to travel to attend meetings or training.
