About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Order Management Lead to join our dynamic team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our Order Validation and Billing team, you will play a pivotal role in driving positive results through managing timely orders review and billing, identifying policy inconsistencies, and reporting key performance indicators.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead a team of approximately 12 employees, focusing on quality and fulfilling deadlines.
    • Manage regular and ad-hoc workload, distribute tasks, monitor full-time equivalents, and drive development sessions with team members.
  • Order Validation and Release
    • Act as the first point of contact for colleagues in Business Units and cross-locations.
    • Perform and coordinate all necessary activities in the field of order validation and release.
    • Oversight of customer orders validation in accordance with policy requirements and other business processes guidelines.
  • Billing and Quality Assurance
    • Ensure billing activities are performed timely (within the Service Level Agreement).
    • Ensure billing quality (billing checklist adherence, accuracy).
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Create and update key performance indicator (KPI) and ad-hoc reports.
    • Design, develop, and interpret complex analyses to support management decision-making.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and communicate potential policy and/or operational improvements that will enhance order validation and release/billing process quality.
    • Adopt, communicate, and enforce Credit and Payment Terms policies.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience
    • Prior leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a Finance department/Operations role and 2 years of experience leading and developing people.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and managerial skills.
    • Strong process knowledge in Order to Cash.
    • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills in Stakeholder's relation management.
    • General accounting knowledge.
    • Analytical skills, ability to interpret data and drive improvements, make recommendations for process changes.
    • Plan, think, and make decisions in a strategic context.
    • Strong Excel knowledge.
    • Oracle knowledge is an advantage.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, result-orientation, responsibility, flexibility.
    • Managing of stressful situations.
    • Fluent English and German, other languages are an advantage.
    • Experience of working in a Shared Service Centre/Retained/Outsourced environment.
What We Offer

Besides working in an international environment, you will receive a €3000 joining bonus (subject to T&C's), plus a regularly monthly bonus after your first six months, meal vouchers, a recreation allowance, and retail discounts. Our onsite facilities at our Bratislava-based office include a fitness centre, canteen, nursery, and coffee machines located on every floor.

If you are relocating to Bratislava to join Johnson Controls, you will be eligible to receive a housing allowance to help you set up your new life in Slovakia.

The gross monthly salary for this position starts from 1800 EUR per month and a monthly bonus that starts after your first 6 months. Please note this is a minimum salary, and our compensation packages are based on your professional experience and qualifications.
