Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Leader to join our team at Kwik Trip Inc. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail/food locations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of 20-60 coworkers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Oversee food safety, ordering, inventory control, and financial management to maintain a profitable and efficient store operation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.
  • Collaborate with district leaders and other store managers to share best practices and drive business results.
  • Maintain a clean and inviting store environment, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of success in a retail or food service environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to problem-solve, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen, with a focus on driving sales growth, improving profitability, and controlling costs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
