About This Role

As a key member of Chart Industries' project management team, the Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and maintain open communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a project from initiation to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project scope, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate and lead project teams, including project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues.
  • Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
  • Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university.
  • PMI or PMP certification is desirable.
  • In lieu of Bachelor's degree, candidate must have an additional 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • At least 1 year of project management experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Senior Project Managers must have at least 7 years project management experience in a heavy fabrication, manufacturing environment and proven experience managing multiple complex projects.
  • Experience managing vendor relations and expectations.
  • Management-level communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Experience working with Industry Standard Codes (ASME, B31, ASTM, AWS, OSHA) and or international equivalents a plus.
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office, MS Project, Quickbase, experience with JD Edwards a plus.
