Your Responsibilities:

As the Reactive Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing the company's inaugural team of Maintenance Technicians in the Dallas area. Your leadership, coaching, and mentorship will be vital in attracting and retaining top talent while cultivating a team that excels in technical capabilities and enhances customer satisfaction as the primary connection to our residents and their homes. Your commitment to operational excellence and resident experience will be essential in ensuring our residents are delighted.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, retain, and manage a team of Technicians, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to efficiently handle maintenance tasks.
  • Work Order Management: Oversee and coordinate responses to maintenance requests, ensuring high-quality workmanship and timely completion.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
  • Resource Management: Collaborate with dispatch and route optimization teams to allocate resources effectively, maximizing productivity.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across departments to share information and achieve optimal business outcomes.

  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in home maintenance and renovation, overseeing a mobile team with fleet vehicles.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication for effective coordination with stakeholders.

Performance Metrics:

  • Team Productivity: Evaluate the Maintenance team's output, including timely completion of work orders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Assess resource utilization and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Resident Satisfaction: Meet or exceed targets for resident satisfaction and positive feedback.
