Role Summary:

This position entails serving as a Senior Engineer, providing strategic leadership and comprehensive technology oversight within the Complaints Technology domain to mitigate risks associated with key initiatives. These initiatives are structured for implementation over an extended period, reflecting changes in complaint definitions and heightened compliance requirements.

The role is situated within the Global Operations Technology sector under Global Tech.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead engineering strategies for intricate features that drive substantial business results.
  • Oversee the delivery of complex technological solutions, fostering development efficiencies.
  • Provide technical thought leadership through extensive software implementations, demonstrating both depth and breadth across various technical domains.
  • Accountable for comprehensive solution design and delivery.

Specific Duties:

  • Offer technological guidance for focal areas within the portfolio.
  • Facilitate end-to-end design oversight and problem resolution.
  • Supervise requirements gathering and interpretation for all infrastructure impacts.
  • Clarify requirements on key projects, ensuring all teams comprehend the business rationale.
  • Guide teams through design challenges and oversee design and implementation reviews.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and collaborate with architecture and development teams during business planning sessions.
  • Review existing solutions, tracking and addressing issues related to resilience, risk, and performance.
  • Align technology roadmaps with business strategies and plans.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in technology, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Pega and knowledge of Mulesoft.
  • Strong skills in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, along with System Integration capabilities.
  • Certification as a Pega Lead System Architect or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with the latest Pega 8 features and case management functionalities.
  • Proficient in all aspects of application development, including flows, agents, and integrations.
  • Experience integrating REST and SOAP services.
  • Familiarity with the BIX framework (Business Intelligence Exchange).
  • Knowledge in building Pega user interfaces compliant with ADA standards.
  • Experience optimizing application performance.
  • Ensure design and engineering approaches align with broader portfolio solutions.
  • Define the technology stack for solutions and evaluate new testing tools and practices.
  • Enable Continuous Integration/Continuous Development (CI/CD) capabilities across teams.
  • Guide teams on design best practices for high code performance.
  • Deliver complex features end-to-end, including automation, at the program level.
  • Conduct research and design prototyping for new toolsets and components.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish high-level solution needs and technical requirements.
