Position Overview

We are looking for a committed Staffing Recruiter to enhance our workforce. This role is essential in sourcing and engaging talent to meet the dynamic requirements of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement recruitment strategies to fulfill the company's staffing requirements.
  • Oversee and manage college recruitment programs.
  • Conduct interviews to evaluate candidates' skills and suitability for the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to draft job descriptions and outline candidate profiles.
  • Utilize social media, job boards, and various sourcing techniques to identify candidates for open positions.
  • Provide comprehensive and engaging information to candidates regarding the company and available roles.
  • Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Facilitate pre-employment processes, including reference checks and background screenings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment and applicant records.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with employment agencies, educational institutions, and other recruitment sources.
  • Stay updated on trends and innovative recruitment methods to remain competitive and creative in staffing.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and report key metrics to assess and forecast staffing activities.
  • Regularly communicate with hiring managers regarding recruitment progress.
Compensation & Benefits
- $45-60k, based on experience

Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • At least 2 years of recruitment experience, ideally in a staffing agency environment
  • Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR databases
  • Strong grasp of recruitment processes and candidate evaluation techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capacity to manage multiple client accounts and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proven success in achieving recruitment goals and maintaining talent pipelines
  • Familiarity with labor laws, particularly concerning hiring practices and equal employment opportunity (EEO) compliance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledgeable about social media and professional networks for recruitment
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to work autonomously
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills
  • Experience conducting various interview formats (e.g., phone, video, structured)
  • Aptitude for building rapport and sustaining professional relationships with candidates and clients
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and job demands
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding personnel and company information
  • High level of self-motivation and persistence to meet objectives despite challenges
  • Willingness to stay informed about new trends in corporate recruiting
