Position: Community Engagement Specialist

Type: Part-Time - Hourly

Compensation: $15 per hour

Hours: Less than 30 hours per week

The Lumen Room is on the hunt for a passionate individual who excels in building relationships, enhancing brand visibility, and maintaining a pristine environment to take on the role of our Community Engagement Specialist.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Your role will encompass a variety of tasks, with a focus on providing excellent service and ensuring your environment is welcoming and well-maintained. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of all areas, including minor repairs and maintenance.
  • Facilitating smooth transitions during guest changeovers, ensuring timely departures and warm welcomes.
  • Greeting guests with genuine warmth, ensuring their experiences align with our brand’s high standards.
  • Building rapport with guests to encourage repeat visits.
  • Managing sales of merchandise and refreshments in the entry area.
  • Opening and closing responsibilities for your designated spaces, responding swiftly to any maintenance needs.
  • Collecting guest feedback proactively and communicating their needs to headquarters.
  • Capturing candid moments of guests enjoying the space.
  • Coordinating repairs and deliveries of furniture.
  • Participating in community events to promote and expand brand awareness.

  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with using basic tools.

COMPENSATION AND OPPORTUNITIES:
