Community Outreach & Engagement Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with community stakeholders and external partners to implement market engagement strategies, execute community events, and promote health insurance products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Sustain Strong Relationships: Foster and maintain partnerships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and external stakeholders to advance our mission and goals.
  • Organize and Execute Community Events: Design and implement community events, workshops, and educational programs to generate leads and promote our products.
  • Design, Implement, and Evaluate Community Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to engage with diverse community segments and promote our health insurance products.
  • Contribute to Educational Campaigns: Collaborate with our team to design and implement educational campaigns targeting healthcare providers, members, and prospects.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all federal and state regulations, as well as our organization's marketing policies, to ensure the integrity of our outreach efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as public health, marketing, or business administration, is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in outside sales and marketing, with a focus on healthcare or a related industry.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Products: In-depth knowledge of Medicaid, CHIP, STAR+PLUS, and Dual Special Needs Plan products, as well as other health insurance products.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as experience with social media tools for information dissemination.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
  • Work Ethic and Adaptability: A strong work ethic, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances.

Reporting Structure: This role reports to the Supervisor/Manager.
