Chemical Sales Representative

The Chemical Sales Representative is a key member of our team at Mark VII Equipment, responsible for driving sales growth in the car wash industry. This role requires a strong understanding of the chemical industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers, ensuring timely onboarding and contract submission.
- Product Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of chemical products, market trends, and competitor analysis to provide expert advice to customers.
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging cold calling, prospecting, and closing sales skills to drive revenue growth.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and support departments.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of sales experience in the chemical industry.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as Salesforce.
- Personal Qualities: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
This role requires regular travel up to 80% and the ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds. The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, bending, and using hands to grip regularly.
