Role Summary:

The SAP Security Analyst plays a crucial role in interfacing with clients and governmental bodies regarding security protocols for sensitive programs. This position involves providing essential guidance and support to personnel engaged in these activities, ensuring they remain informed about evolving security requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer security protocols in accordance with NISPOM, DoDM series, and Intelligence Community Directives, focusing on classified environments.
  • Develop and implement local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans based on risk management principles.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and manage Badge Processing and Visitor Control duties.
  • Oversee the testing, shipment, and secure storage of classified materials.
  • Facilitate Security Clearance Indoctrination briefings for new personnel.
  • Implement a media control program that aligns with JSIG requirements.
  • Provide security oversight to subcontractors and suppliers through contractual agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with security regulations to maintain a secure facility.
  • Participate in internal audits and government inspections to assess security measures.
  • Investigate security breaches and prepare detailed reports on potential risks to programs.

Qualifications Required:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience, with less than 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Active In-Scope Secret security clearance, with potential requirements for an Active In-Scope Top Secret clearance.
  • Familiarity with NISPOM, DoDM series, and/or ICD 705.
  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Possession of a final TS/SCI security clearance with a recent investigation.
  • At least 6 years of experience in National Security is preferred.
  • Relevant training from the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) or the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), including Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
