Job Overview

The Senior Security Operations Supervisor will play a pivotal role in supporting the Air Dominance Sub-Strategic Business Unit and the Global Security Services Center of Excellence. This position is crucial for ensuring compliance with National Security and contractual obligations related to Special Programs, adhering to regulations such as 32 CFR – Part 117, DoDM series, JSIG, and ICD-705. The chosen candidate will oversee and guide entry-level security personnel, serving as the primary contact for all security-related functions within their designated programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the enforcement and execution of security protocols for classified project areas. Supervise security staff, including scheduling, mentoring, training, and performance assessment. Establish daily objectives and targets for team members. Collaborate with various departments to support business goals while maintaining adherence to US Government and corporate policies. Communicate policies, practices, and procedures to team members and stakeholders. Develop and enforce local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), processes, and Job Operating Instructions to uphold high compliance standards and operational efficiency. Conduct annual self-assessments, analyze results, and guide the implementation of corrective measures. Provide security assistance during governmental audits and inspections. Investigate security breaches, compile reports detailing potential risks, and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) and Information System Security Manager (ISSM) to implement JSIG requirements and approved sanitization protocols for hardware and testing equipment. Evaluate and maintain secure facilities in line with ICD 705 standards. Assess resource requirements to formulate proposals. Availability for overtime, evening, and weekend work may be necessary.

Required Qualifications:

A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience. Proven expertise in leading and managing security processes and projects within a SAP/SCI environment. U.S. citizenship is mandatory. Familiarity with 32 CFR – Part 117, DoDM series, and ICD-705 regulations. A valid driver's license is required for escorting personnel across business sites.

An active Secret security clearance is essential, with a current, final Secret clearance that has been investigated within the last six years on the first day of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. A current, final TOP SECRET security clearance with an investigation not older than six years on the first day of employment is preferred. Relevant training from the Defense Security Service, Center for Development of Security Excellence, or equivalent security certification programs. Willingness to travel for business purposes.

The salary range for this position is between 77,000 USD and 163,000 USD, reflecting a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Raytheon Technologies considers various factors when extending offers, including role responsibilities, candidate experience, location, education, and key skills. Hired candidates may be eligible for benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, 401(k) matching, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance programs, and more. Specific benefits may vary based on the business unit and whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

Hired candidates may also qualify for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs, depending on the position level and collective bargaining agreement coverage. Payments under these programs are not guaranteed and depend on various factors, including individual and business performance.

This role is based in the U.S. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the applicable pay structure and benefits will apply.
