Position Overview: This position focuses on the Forensic Engineering division, emphasizing rapid investigation and restoration of existing structures. It is particularly suited for individuals with a solid background in wood-frame residential construction and entails regular travel to project sites for assessment and data gathering. Compensation: The salary range for this role typically falls between $76,000 and $92,000 annually. This range is a good faith estimate in accordance with pay transparency regulations. Actual compensation will be determined based on various factors, including geographic differentials, educational background, and candidate qualifications.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural (or Civil) Engineering with coursework in timber and seismic design or equivalent experience.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites and gather information from diverse locations (including crawl spaces and attics).
  • Strong organizational, communication, technical, and teamwork skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of residential and commercial building types, along with proficiency in CAD/BIM platforms (Revit).
  • Experience in construction is advantageous.
