If this resonates with you, consider our Structural Engineer position. We are looking for a full-time Structural Engineer with over 6 years of experience to spearhead diverse projects across various construction types and industry sectors.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with a team of Structural Engineers and Designers on larger projects or independently manage smaller projects.
  • Engage in all phases of structural design, from initial concepts to construction oversight.
  • Maintain client relationships throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Mentor junior Engineers.
  • Prepare and verify design calculations for structural systems.
  • Draft forensic and investigative reports.
  • Work collaboratively within a project team to meet engineering and drafting obligations.
  • Adhere to local and state building codes in design processes.
  • Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools, with a preference for RISA software.
  • Participate in Construction Administration activities as required by project demands.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or the ability to obtain it within six months; Structural Engineering (S.E.) certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficient in designing structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood.
  • Experience with structures in high seismicity regions is advantageous.
  • Background in providing structural design for fisheries or environmentally focused projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Revit is preferred.
  • Skilled in structural engineering design software such as RISA 3D.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing projects from studies to detailed design.
