We are seeking a full-time Structural Engineer with over 6 years of experience to spearhead diverse projects across various construction types and industry sectors. Projects managed by our teams will range from local initiatives to international assignments, offering unique engineering experiences. Typical projects may involve water and wastewater treatment facilities, pump stations, and support structures, as well as fisheries-related infrastructure such as hatcheries and research facilities.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of quality projects within budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with a team of Structural Engineers and Designers on larger projects or independently manage smaller projects.
  • Engage in all phases of structural design, from initial concepts to construction oversight.
  • Maintain client communication throughout the design and construction phases.
  • Mentor junior Engineers.
  • Prepare and verify design calculations for structural systems.
  • Draft forensic and investigative reports.
  • Work collaboratively within project teams to fulfill engineering and drafting duties.
  • Adhere to local and state building codes in design.
  • Utilize advanced structural engineering software tools, with a preference for RISA software.
  • Participate in Construction Administration activities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months; Structural Engineering (S.E.) license preferred.
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience as a Structural Engineer.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficient in designing structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, aluminum, and wood.
  • Experience in designing structures in high seismicity areas is advantageous.
  • Background in providing structural design for fisheries or environmental projects is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Revit is preferred.
  • Skilled in structural engineering design software such as RISA 3D.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling projects from studies to detailed design.
