Quality Assurance Supervisor

SES Construction and Fuel Services LLC (SCF), a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH), is expanding its operations and is in search of a skilled Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer. LocationThis role is situated at a military installation in Anchorage, AK.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is between $100,000 - $115,000 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and adhere to safety standards.
- Effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to resolve any project-related issues.
- Manage safety and health protocols, conducting regular inspections and safety briefings.
- Maintain project records using management software, ensuring all documentation is current.
- Conduct daily quality inspections, documenting any issues for prompt resolution.
- Facilitate government and DOR RFIs, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups.
- Provide safety orientations and specialized training for all project personnel.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and engage in the three-phase inspection process.
- Implement Accident Prevention Plans and subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis to promote a safe working environment.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety regulations, verifying qualifications and conducting inspections.
- Investigate incidents, complete necessary reports, and track safety issues until resolved.
- Maintain accurate safety logs and reports, including OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports.
- Ensure safety reference materials and hazardous chemical lists are readily available on-site.
This position requires the ability to navigate work sites, with essential functions including bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods. The role involves frequent outdoor work in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and rough terrain, as well as the ability to lift up to 35 pounds. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory.
Working ConditionsThe job entails a mix of office and outdoor environments. The office setting involves significant computer use, while outdoor work includes walking, driving, and carrying supplies in all seasons. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and loud noises may occur.
Qualifications- USACE CQM Certification
- OSHA 30 training
- Certification in First Aid/AED/CPR
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in similar projects is required.
