Quality Assurance Supervisor

SES Construction and Fuel Services LLC (SCF), a subsidiary of Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC (BBCH), is expanding its operations. We are in search of a proficient Quality Control Manager/Site Safety & Health Officer to enhance our dedicated workforce. Position LocationThis role is based at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, AK.
CompensationThe salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $115,000, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and adhere to safety standards.
- Engage with clients and building occupants to resolve any project-related issues.
- Manage safety and health protocols, conducting regular inspections and safety briefings.
- Maintain project records using RMS and Procore, ensuring timely updates.
- Conduct daily quality control inspections, documenting and addressing any deficiencies.
- Facilitate government and DOR RFIs, ensuring prompt responses and follow-ups.
- Provide safety orientations and specific training for all project personnel.
- Participate in pre-construction meetings and contribute to the three-phase inspection process.
- Implement Accident Prevention Plans and subcontractor Activity Hazard Analysis to promote a safe work environment.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety regulations, verifying qualifications and conducting inspections.
- Investigate incidents, complete necessary reports, and track safety issues until resolved.
- Maintain accurate safety logs and reports in RMS and Procore, including OSHA Form 300 and Daily Production reports.
- Ensure availability of safety reference materials and hazardous chemical lists on-site for quick access.
This position necessitates the ability to navigate work sites, communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, and maintain physical fitness for tasks such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking, or standing for extended periods. The role involves frequent outdoor work in varying weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, and may require lifting up to 35 pounds. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be utilized at all times, including hard hats, steel-toed boots, eye protection, respiratory protection, and hearing protection. A constant state of mental alertness is essential.
Working EnvironmentThe job encompasses both office and outdoor site locations. The office environment includes exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse. Outdoor settings involve walking, driving, and transporting supplies in all seasons, with exposure to heat, cold, and potential wildlife. Occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise may occur.
Qualifications- USACE CQM Certification
- OSHA 30 training
- Certification in First Aid/AED/CPR
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in similar projects is required.
