Role Summary:
Potawatomi Federal Solutions is in search of a dedicated Evening Operations Supervisor. This role involves leading and managing the daily activities of the cleaning team to guarantee a high standard of cleanliness and operational efficiency while adhering to stringent quality assurance and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough cleaning of patient and residential rooms, restrooms, and communal areas, including dusting, vacuuming, and window washing.
- Utilize appropriate disinfectants and cleaning agents, ensuring compliance with infection control standards.
- Change bed linens and prepare beds in patient accommodations.
- Ensure a hygienic environment throughout the facility.
- Employ approved cleaning solutions for effective disinfection.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary atmosphere for patients, visitors, and healthcare personnel.
- Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies within the facility.
- Manage waste disposal in accordance with health regulations, including medical waste.
- Document cleaning procedures and waste disposal processes to meet compliance standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- One or more of the following certifications: IEHA Certified Housekeeper, member of ASHES, or completion of a recognized housekeeping course.
- At least one year of experience in healthcare cleaning services within the last three years.
- Ability to pass background checks required for security access.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug and background tests.
- Full vaccination status.
Preferred Qualifications:
- OSHA 10 or 30 Training Certification.
- Proficiency in additional languages, particularly Spanish.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Work Environment:
The characteristics of the work environment described are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the essential duties of this role. The position is primarily indoor, within a healthcare setting.
Physical Requirements:
Responsibilities may include prolonged standing, frequent reaching, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. Candidates may be required to pass a functional capacity assessment.
