Position Overview

We are in search of a Chief Executive Officer for Lodge of the Wabash, a distinguished facility dedicated to long-term care and rehabilitation. Our organization is committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals in our community, guided by our core values of dignity, respect, and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

The Chief Executive Officer will oversee the administration of our healthcare facility, leading a team of interdisciplinary managers to achieve the following goals:

  • Execute all responsibilities in alignment with the organization's mission and values.
  • Develop and enhance programs and services focused on medical and psycho/social rehabilitation, as well as community health initiatives for the elderly.
  • Organize and implement various activities, policies, and procedures essential for delivering high-quality care and ensuring efficient operations.
  • Represent the organization at community events and promote our programs through various media channels.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and seminars to ensure the delivery of the highest quality care.
  • Manage financial operations, including budget planning and accounting, while establishing rates for healthcare services.
  • Negotiate contracts and services to improve and expand healthcare facility infrastructure and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and safety requirements at all staff levels.
  • Guarantee that the healthcare facility's Bill of Rights adheres to state and federal standards, ensuring all residents receive appropriate nursing, medical, and psychological services.
  • Oversee the 24-hour operation of the facility, managing emergency situations and responding promptly to resident and family requests.
  • Act as a liaison between corporate staff, medical personnel, and other staff members, advocating for residents and facilitating communication between the facility, residents, and families.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to ensure maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or four years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • Valid Nursing Home Administrator License is mandatory.
