As an integral member of the pilot team, you will be pivotal in the creation and execution of novel manufacturing methodologies, technologies, and products.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to initiate new projects, refine production processes, and guarantee the successful introduction of new vehicle models.
This division will oversee all related KPIs and assist in ensuring all stakeholders adhere to project guidelines, including addressing project obstacles by escalating issues to management as necessary for the overall success of the pilot team.
This role requires strict compliance with company policies, procedures, and performance standards by mentoring and guiding team members, exemplifying leadership.
- Engage with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams to pilot innovative manufacturing processes and technologies, ensuring smooth integration into current production systems.
- Perform comprehensive testing and assessment of prototype components and manufacturing tools to pinpoint improvement areas and ensure compliance with quality benchmarks on new module launches.
- Continuously evaluate production data and performance indicators to uncover opportunities for process enhancement, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, design, procurement, and supply chain teams to communicate pilot results, offer insights, and align on project goals.
- Participate in quality audits, inspections, and root cause analyses to identify and rectify manufacturing challenges, ensuring the highest product quality and customer satisfaction.
- Create and present training materials for production personnel on new processes, equipment, and best practices. Maintain precise documentation of pilot activities, outcomes, and lessons learned.
- Comply with all safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Proactively identify and address potential safety risks in coordination with our Safety Department.
- Oversee schedules, activities, and follow-ups from all stakeholders, emphasizing daily shop floor conditions and providing guidance to maintain project momentum.
- Develop and sustain a management board with all necessary KPIs, action plans, and progress updates available for routine reporting.
- Manage employee relations in collaboration with relevant department management and human resources.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- This position is for one model assignment; upon completion, you will return to your previous role or an equivalent position (same rank, potentially at a different location - rotation).
