About the Role
Ogilvypr is in search of a Vice President of Account Management to enhance our operations in the DC area. This pivotal role involves making significant contributions to the agency's performance and revenue growth, while also identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. The Vice President will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and account teams, championing exceptional creative work and ensuring impeccable execution.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for addressing client challenges through innovative and strategic solutions. Clients partner with Ogilvypr to amplify their influence in Washington, while also extending their brand's reach globally.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of client service, including strategic planning, program execution, and account team leadership.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, consistently seeking opportunities to cultivate and expand client relationships.
- Exhibit strong collaboration skills with internal teams, leveraging agency resources to generate innovative ideas and solutions that effectively support client objectives.
- Coordinate with agency operations leadership to ensure the client team is optimally staffed and structured to meet client demands.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with project managers, creative teams, and strategic partners.
- Manage the overall financial performance of accounts, including forecasting client revenue and overseeing client P&L, business growth, and operating margins.
- Contribute to the agency's revenue and profitability forecasts.
- Assist Ogilvypr and clients in cultivating a positive reputation within relevant communities, including business media and political interest groups.
- Serve as a seasoned manager, coaching and inspiring the growth and development of junior staff through consistent feedback and training opportunities.
- Promote an inclusive and diverse atmosphere within the team and agency.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in integrated marketing, public relations, and advertising.
- At least 3 years of direct management experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence.
- A strong commitment to creative excellence and understanding of how great work is produced.
- Robust background in the strategy and development of integrated communication initiatives.
- A diplomatic, inspiring, and empathetic leadership style.
- Excellent listening skills, with the ability to read people and adapt communication styles accordingly.
- Strong business acumen and financial skills to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of work.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and lead cross-functional teams, including program management, creative, communication, brand strategy, paid media, PR, analytics, and finance.
- A sense of curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
- A strong leader who actively manages the professional development of team members, providing ongoing feedback and training opportunities.
