Program Partnerships and Advocacy Senior Vice President

Share Our Strength is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vice President of Program Partnerships and Advocacy to lead our efforts in ending childhood hunger in the United States.

This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of millions of children and families.

The Senior Vice President will be responsible for developing and implementing results-driven strategies that leverage partnerships, programmatic expertise, government relations, advocacy, and communications to maximize access and participation in federal nutrition programs and policies that increase economic mobility.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of leadership, policy expertise, and experience in managing complex programs and teams.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing program strategies to end childhood hunger
  • Leading a team of program professionals to achieve program goals
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, non-profit leaders, and corporate partners
  • Managing a multi-million dollar budget to support program activities
  • Collaborating with the Communications and Resource Development teams to ensure effective messaging and fundraising efforts

The Senior Vice President will be a key member of the Executive Team and will work closely with the Executive Vice President to develop and implement organizational strategies.

This is a hybrid position based in Washington, DC, with a requirement for regular travel to meet with stakeholders and attend conferences.
