We are currently seeking a robotic welding technician proficient in MIG/TIG welding techniques to meet job and customer specifications, working with both stainless and carbon steel. This role will involve supporting the quality assurance team with part layouts and inspections, necessitating a fundamental understanding of GD&T and print interpretation. Additionally, the technician will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of production fixtures and will operate and recover welding robots throughout all production phases.

Available Shifts:

Monday-Friday - 7:00am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the welder and perform basic GTAW and GMAW welding on mild steel joints.
  • Interpret and apply basic welding symbols.
  • Identify and differentiate between various material types.
  • Understand weld fixture placements and the return process.
  • Change wire and gas for standard operations.
  • Demonstrate the ability to set up and troubleshoot projection welders, adjusting settings as necessary.
  • Complete a basic blueprint reading assessment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center, or Technical Trades Training).
  • A minimum of 2 years of welding experience in an industrial environment.

Specific vision capabilities required for this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
