Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Laser Tube Cutting Technician responsible for overseeing all facets of tube laser operations, including maintenance, programming, and process optimization. This role also involves metal fabrication utilizing tube laser cutting machinery. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to make swift and precise decisions regarding the production process while demonstrating a thorough understanding of the products being manufactured.

Shifts Available

We offer multiple shift options:

  • Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Monday-Thursday – 3:30pm-2:00am (Shift premium applicable)
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00am-5:30pm (Shift premium applicable)
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 5:00am-5:30pm (Shift premium applicable)
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00pm-5:30am (Shift premium applicable)
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine maintenance on laser tube cutting equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Adhere to established protocols for the startup and shutdown of laser tube cutting machinery.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in blueprint interpretation.
  • Comprehend product specifications, including dimensions, tolerances, and applications.
  • Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of vocational training in a relevant field.
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within advanced manufacturing.
Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this position require the employee to engage in various activities, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Specific vision capabilities are necessary for this role, including close vision, distance vision, and depth perception.
