Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Laser Tube Cutting Technician responsible for the comprehensive operation, maintenance, programming, and enhancement of tube laser cutting machinery. This role demands quick and precise decision-making regarding production processes and a thorough understanding of the specifications of the products being manufactured.

Available Shifts:

We offer multiple shift options:

  • Monday-Friday – 7:00am-3:30pm
  • Monday-Thursday – 3:30pm-2:00am (includes a shift premium)
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00am-5:30pm (includes a shift premium)
  • Saturday, Sunday, Monday – 5:00am-5:30pm (includes a shift premium)
  • Friday, Saturday, Sunday – 5:00pm-5:30am (includes a shift premium)
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance on laser tube cutting equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Adhere to established protocols for the startup and shutdown of laser tube cutting machinery.
  • Utilize blueprint reading skills effectively.
  • Comprehend the specifications of the products being manufactured, including dimensions, tolerances, and applications.
  • Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center, or Technical Trades Training).
  • Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within advanced manufacturing.
