We are currently seeking a robotic welding technician who will proficiently operate MIG/TIG welding equipment based on job requirements and customer specifications, working with both stainless and carbon steel. This role involves supporting the quality assurance team with part layouts and inspections, necessitating a foundational understanding of GD&T and print interpretation. Additionally, the technician will assist in the design, development, and implementation of production fixtures and manage the operation and recovery of welding robots throughout all production phases.

Available Shifts:

Monday-Friday - 7:00am-3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up the welder and execute basic GTAW and GMAW mild steel joints.
  • Interpret and apply basic weld symbols.
  • Identify different material types accurately.
  • Understand weld fixture locations and the return process.
  • Change wire and gas for standard operations as needed.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in setting up and troubleshooting projection welders, adjusting settings as required.
  • Complete a basic blueprint reading assessment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Completion of vocational training (STEM Program, Career Center, or Technical Trades Training).
  • A minimum of 2 years of welding experience in an industrial environment.
