Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder Specialist to join our team at Technique Inc. as a key member of our industrial manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using MIG/TIG equipment, working with stainless and carbon steel materials, and adhering to customer specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welding Operations: Perform welding tasks using MIG/TIG equipment, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to customer specifications.
  • Material Handling: Handle and store materials, including stainless and carbon steel, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to improve welding skills and stay up-to-date with industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with vocational training or technical certification in welding or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in industrial welding, with a strong understanding of MIG/TIG welding processes and techniques.
  • Skills: Proficiency in reading and applying blueprints, GD&T, and print reading; ability to work with CAD software (Solidworks); and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Working Conditions

The Welder Specialist will work in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, with regular exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The successful candidate must be able to lift and move heavy materials, stand for long periods, and work in a team-oriented environment.
