Job Title: Sales Manager - Bakery Products

Location: Midwest

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in bakery products to lead our sales team in the Midwest region. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales, leading a high-performing team, and managing customer relationships within the baked goods industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in the bakery products sector.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and partners.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term strategies for market expansion.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales goals with product offerings.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Requirements:
  • MUST have prior experience in the baked goods industry (bread, pastries, cakes, or related products).
  • MUST have experience managing a sales team and achieving sales targets.
  • MUST live in the Midwest – this is a regional position with no relocation or sponsorship available.
  • Proven ability to develop sales strategies and execute them successfully.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Strong understanding of bakery product trends and customer needs.
