Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Insurance Unit sales team in North America. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing regional sales and business development strategies for target companies within the Insurance Unit (P&C and Life and Annuities markets).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the Insurance Unit.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management at targeted firms to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, prospecting, and negotiation, to ensure successful deal closure.
  • Collaborate with presales and delivery teams to ensure that proposed offerings and services meet customers' business and technology needs.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure total client satisfaction throughout the relationship.
Requirements
  • 10-12 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in selling IT services within the Insurance Industry.
  • Strong local contact base and access to alumni, local associations, and industry associations within the region.
  • Good understanding of the overall Insurance Industry and/or specific sub-verticals.
  • Experience with vendor selection processes, including RFI and RFP issuance and response management.
  • Ability to maintain strong sales management focus during sales cycles that are typically six months to one year in duration.
Travel Requirements

The candidate is expected to travel regularly to regional prospect and customer locations to support lead generation, sales presentations, contract negotiations, engagement implementation, and ongoing relationship building.

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Domain certifications preferred.
