About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solutions Architect to join our Technology Partners team at Databricks Inc. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving partner success, championing innovation, and empowering technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive Partner Success: Collaborate with our partners to ensure their integrations are high-quality, high-performing, and deliver maximum value to our shared customers.
  2. Champion Innovation: Lead the way in identifying and developing new solutions that benefit both Databricks and our partners, unlocking new opportunities for growth.
  3. Empower Technical Excellence: Be the technical expert, guiding partners through the entire integration lifecycle, from initial design to ongoing value extraction and improved experiences.
  4. Amplify Our Message: Craft compelling stories and demonstrations that showcase the power of our partnerships, both internally and externally.
  5. Shape the Future: Use your insights and partner feedback to influence our product roadmap, ensuring it meets the evolving needs of our partners and customers.
  6. Build Relationships: Become a trusted advisor to partners, helping them navigate the Databricks platform and build successful integrations, influencing their integration roadmap.
Requirements
  1. Data Expertise: Deep understanding of data warehousing, lakehouses, data collaboration, SQL, and the data intelligence platform.
  2. Technical Acumen: Strong foundation in enterprise architecture, data products, and programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java.
  3. Problem-Solving Prowess: Ability to tackle complex technical challenges and find elegant solutions.
  4. Collaboration: Experience working in partner-focused roles, building strong relationships, and driving collaborative success.
  5. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  2. Expertise in streaming technologies (Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka)
  3. Openness to travel (domestic and international)
