Role Overview

Are you a dedicated innovator with a strong focus on customer success? Do you possess the business acumen, expertise in Generative AI, and technical sales capabilities required to position AWS as the preferred cloud provider? If you are passionate about developing strategic, data-centric solutions, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary voice for customers; work collaboratively with both field and central teams to relay customer insights to product development teams. Lead the gathering of tailored feature requests for specific customer applications.
  • Technical Expertise: Deliver advanced technical insights to your aligned go-to-market (GTM) teams to resolve significant business challenges faced by our customers.
  • Standards Ownership: Together with your extended team, uphold the technical standards for specialized technical documentation and artifacts.
  • Collaborative Strategy: Partner with GTM colleagues to provide technical guidance on GTM strategies and assist in executing local technical events, marketing campaigns, and customer interactions.
  • Thought Leadership: Share best practices and insights through various platforms such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures, and public speaking engagements.
  • Community Support: Mentor and support an internal community of technical experts aligned with your customer base. Develop training materials for the broader Solutions Architect community to facilitate the integration of new AWS solutions into customer systems.
About the Team

The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is integral to AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services, focusing on driving revenue and growth across a diverse range of customer accounts. We prioritize addressing our customers' most complex challenges by crafting and executing go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial business opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in relevant technology domains (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures.
  • 7+ years of experience in IT development or consulting within the software or internet sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems and their architectural requirements.
  • Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities.
