Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Architect II, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the systems architecture within the Global Distribution Team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing architectural support across various teams and ensuring alignment with other Architects, Analysts, Engineers, and leadership.
2. Leading solution design for complex projects that require extensive collaboration.
3. Driving the architectural vision and engineering for platforms within Global Distribution Technology.
4. Mentoring junior architects and guiding software development teams in implementing solutions.
5. Evaluating new technologies to enhance future state architecture.
6. Ensuring adherence to integration standards and designing solutions that meet operational requirements, including scalability and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information technology.
- Over 10 years of hands-on experience in design, coding, and deployment of enterprise applications.
- Minimum of 5 years in architecting retail or supply chain applications.
- Proven experience in delivering API integration projects and building technology roadmaps.
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure) and microservices architecture.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
