Sales Director

At SPX, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth in the Marine Americas region. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, building strong relationships with customers and partners, and leading a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and grow existing channels to market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners to drive business growth and customer satisfaction
- Lead a team of sales professionals to deliver exceptional results and achieve sales targets
- Manage sales budgets and forecasts to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting
- Travel routinely throughout the territory to support sales team, attend trade shows and conferences, and build relationships with customers and partners
- Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in industry sector - Marine
- Experienced sales professional with a history of new business development and strong sales management experience
- Proven experience with Government contracts
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer service orientation/relationship building skills
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
- Demonstrated negotiation skills
- Ability to travel routinely throughout territory
- Technical ability to run Master Classes (Product Training) for Agents, Distributors, Customers and End Users
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills
