Job Title: Sales and Marketing Director

Job Summary:

The Sales and Marketing Director will be responsible for growing camper enrollment at Camps Bernadette and Fatima through retention and new camper recruitment. This role will also support the Executive Director with alumni engagement initiatives and alumni event planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute sales strategies to increase camper enrollment.
  2. Travel to parishes, schools, and other locations for marketing and enrollment meetings.
  3. Work with the Executive Director to maintain ACA standards and operate under N.H. Law.
  4. Develop procedures, routines, and practices for all camp operations.
  5. Manage the day-to-day financial operation of camp.
  6. Live at camp during summer sessions to manage all operations and personnel.
  7. Recruit and hire staff, including interviews, reference checks, and background checks.
  8. Prepare and conduct pre-camp and in-service training for all CITs and staff members.
  9. Develop new activities, schedules, and procedures for camp operation.
  10. Directly lead, supervise, and motivate the head staff and summer office staff.
  11. Prepare an evaluation and summary of the current camp season.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years related customer-conversion sales experience.
  2. Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  3. Working knowledge of the Catholic Church and Church teaching.
  4. Superior interpersonal and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to sell the camps and their value proposition to families.
  6. Proficiency with social media, email platforms, and CRM.
  7. Ability to represent the camps well in many environments.
  8. Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools.
  9. Ability to lead, mentor, manage, and develop staff.

Environment:

  1. A shared workspace in the camp office.
  2. Approximately 20% of time spent traveling.
  3. Full-time residence required at camp during the summer season.
  4. Frequent use of office equipment.
