POSITION SUMMARY:
We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Public Sector Marketing Manager who possesses a robust background in event strategy formulation and execution. This pivotal role is essential for enhancing our brand visibility within the public sector through the meticulous planning and execution of premier events. The ideal candidate will be tasked with crafting and executing integrated marketing strategies that not only elevate our brand but also engage our target demographics and align with our organizational goals in the public sector.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Event Strategy Formulation:
    • Direct the creation of a strategic event roadmap that aligns with the public sector business objectives.
    • Identify significant industry events, conferences, and opportunities for sponsorship, collaboration, and speaking roles.
    • Establish and manage an annual event schedule, ensuring coherence with overarching marketing initiatives.
  • Event Coordination & Execution:
    • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, including conferences, webinars, workshops, and trade exhibitions.
    • Manage all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, vendor coordination, budgeting, and on-site management.
    • Design and implement pre- and post-event marketing strategies to maximize return on investment.
    • Ensure events are delivered punctually, within budget, and provide an exceptional experience for participants.
  • Audience Engagement:
    • Create targeted messaging and content that resonates with public sector stakeholders.
    • Utilize digital marketing tools to promote events and engage participants throughout the event lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with the content team to produce event-specific materials, such as presentations, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Performance Analysis:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of event strategies and marketing campaigns.
    • Offer insights and recommendations for future event planning and marketing efforts based on analytical results.
    • Compile post-event reports that highlight key metrics, achievements, and areas for enhancement.
  • Collaborative Engagement:
    • Work closely with sales and partner teams to ensure unified messaging and strategic alignment.
    • Engage with external partners, including agencies, vendors, and industry organizations, to bolster event success.
    • Manage relationships with government and public sector stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or marketing.
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years in B2G.
  • Relevant industry experience is highly advantageous.
